AM Front Desk Agent

Full-Time Position

Job Summary:

The AM Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests at The Hilton Garden Inn/Home2 Suites by Hilton Medical Center. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the front desk operations during morning shifts, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, friendly demeanor.
- Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently and accurately.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel’s property management system.
- Provide information to guests regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available both in the hotel and the surrounding area.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Process payments and maintain accurate accounts of transactions.
- Support the Front Office team in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to fulfill guest requests and report any issues.
- Assist with managing cash and completing daily reports.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations.
- Participate in training and development programs as required.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
- Proficient in using computer systems, including property management software and basic office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate a busy front desk area.
